Dear Canoe Families,

My name is David Wellingham and I am thrilled to be joining North Canoe Elementary School as your new principal.  I am very grateful for the warm welcome I have already received and look forward to meeting you when we begin the new year on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. 

As we hope to maintain clear communication with you throughout the year, please check your email, our website, and read our newsletters for information regarding school activities and important dates.

At North Canoe, we believe in enabling ALL students.  The staff and I are committed to the academic success and social development of your child and every student in our building.  You should also know that, while I take my role as principal seriously, I believe an elementary school should be a fun place to work and learn.  Schools where everyone feels safe and valued are schools that thrive!

North Canoe is ready for the beginning of the school year.  All our staff have all spent many hours preparing and organizing the school and classrooms.  Thank you for your enthusiastic efforts and dedication!
